Oh, there’s no doubt. It’s rampant in that world. Of course I can’t say how prevalent—and I’m an outsider who only knew a few personally—but yeah, there’s a weird space in fitness where people go to far, and their mindfulness to diet becomes a dangerous obsession. Ever know a fighter trying to make weight? Same deal. There’s a widespread problem in amateur wrestling for teenage boys.
